NICU- 56 bed level III unit. It is a state-of-the-art unit with great outcomes and a very dynamic team.
Required
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited school of nursingSuccessful completion of all Orientation Programs required by CBMC
Preferred
Baccalaureate degree in Nursing
Certifications And Licenses Required
Current Registered Nurse License in the state of New JerseyBasic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart AssociationNRP certification or completion of its requirements within 90 days of hire to the unitIV certification from an approved facility or completion of those requirements preferred
Scheduling Requirements
Full-timeEvening/Night shift37.5 hrs weekly
Essential Functions
Organize and administer individualized age specific professional care to patients within an assigned unit of the hospital in support of medical care. Supports philosophy, objectives along with the mission and vision of Saint Barnabas Medical Center and the Department of Nursing. Practices in accordance with the N.J. State Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association Standards of Practice, Code of Ethics for Nurses, Department of Health Regulations, TJC requirements and other regulatory agencies. Participates in patient teaching and discharge planning. Participates in unit Performance Improvement evaluation and activities.
