Job Title: Financial Analysis & Controls 5 Job Type: Contract Site Type: Hybrid (Redmond, WA) Duration: 1 Month 17 Days Job Overview: The main functions of a Financial Analysis & Controls are to gather and analyze financial information; will typically conduct quantitative analyses of information affecting investment programs of public or private institutions. A typical Financial Analysis & Controls is responsible for analyzing and communicating financial information for clients. Job Responsibilities: Month and Quarter end financial close (Journal Entries, Reporting, Trend Analysis) Financial System Reporting and New Capability Design and Testing Execute and Manage Financial (SOX) controls Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree in accounting or related financial discipline required. An advanced degree in a financial discipline is preferred 10+ years of financial and/or accounting experience required At 4 years of revenue recognition experience Knowledge of Revenue Recognition (ASC 606) At 4 years of experience with software sales (software revenue experience) At least 6 years of experience in generally accepted accounting principles Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking Basic ability to work independently and manage one’s time Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues Knowledge of economic and generally accepted accounting principles, and reporting of financial data Knowledge of Microsoft financial systems Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software Current CPA license preferred
