Sr. Manager, Electrification (BLUEHERO) Position ID: 70298079Org Unit: Battery & ElectricalsLocation: Wixom, MI Job Summary Lead a high performance, global marketing team focused on growth initiatives for the Electrification Segment, including strategy development and execution, for the profitable growth of business, in the area of EV battery components, electrical systems and crash & safety solutions under BLUEHERO™ initiative. Key responsibilities include growth playbook development by region/country, new market identification, lead ideation and build innovation pipeline, value chain engagement and drive strategic collaboration with customers and partners to validate new solutions and develop the market. Responsible for aligning resources from the different functions for the short, mid and long-term growth ambitions of the segment. The position reports to the Global Marketing Leader Automotive and located in Wixom, MI.How You Can Be the ImpactLead global marketing team for BLUEHERO™ to develop and execute strategic growth plan aligned to SABIC 2030 growth ambitions, in response to emerging market needs, changing customer behaviours and dynamic regulatory environment.Understand market eco-system, drive ideation process to develop and manage a multi-generation solution portfolio.Develop business cases, validate assumptions and analyse fit vs attractiveness to define next best opportunity space for growth.Understand automotive value chain and upcoming disruptions with electrification, develop plan for engagement; and leads industry collaboration efforts to validate new solutions.Build translation package of validated solutions and coordinate efforts with commercial team on translation to new customers.Evaluate and document SWOT analysis on a competitive basis to keep abreast of the competitive market situation within the industry and refine action plan. Cultivate the culture of calculated risk taking amongst cross-functional team, through clear communication of strategy and build consensus on resourcing and validation of advanced technologies.Ensures effective interaction and communication across functions and to business teams to develop and execute on ‘one plan’.Develop global communication strategy for the segment and coordinate efforts with MARCOM team to drive market awareness through external media and social channels. What Matters to SABICBachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree or MBA highly preferredKnowledge of the components related to Electrification, solutions for batteries, emerging trends and regulatory requirements… experience in market development efforts on positioning materials in EV solutions space is a plusExperience with market development efforts on multi-material semi-structural parts (plastics and their hybrids like metal hybrid, composites hybrid etc.)Understanding of the automotive value chain and upcoming disruptions with electrificationSuccessful track record of developing and executing solution roadmap in collaboration with value chain partnersAbility to lead, direct, guide, plan and develop team; and new projects and programsAutomotive Business acumen & negotiating skillsTravel 30% international and domestic Eligibility RequirementsYou must submit your application for employment online to be considered.
