Description
Position will be
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 0730-1700. Tuesdays off
Restorix Health helps to provide HBO virtual training that you will receive in conjunction with Trinity Health on site training.
Performs routine inspection, testing and calibration of hyperbaric equipment and ancillary supporting equipment.Prepares patients referred for hyperbaric oxygen treatment, including and orientation, risk assessment, compiling vital records from providers to support medical necessity of therapy, and recording vital signs before and after therapy.Works with providers to ensure patients are properly screened prior to hyperbaric oxygen therapy, including providing doctors with accurate information specific to patient's medical condition that may affect the provider’s recommendation.Recognizes changes in patients’ condition and intervenes appropriately.Provides wound care assessments/dressing changes per scope of practiceRecords patient treatment notes into EMR system.Participates in quality improvement activities; assists in collecting data used for quality assurance.Accurately and completely documents care provided, adhering to policy.Educates patients and families on treatment, equipment, and activities following treatment.Collaborates with other clinical disciplines to develop a plan of care.Performs hyperbaric chamber operations, cleaning and maintenance as required.May preform insurance verifications and patient scheduling for hyperbaric oxygen therapy and evaluation visits, using appropriate software and/or EMR system.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
