Role Summary

Responsible for the site merchandising of the division categories using a data-driven approach to optimize the customer experience to achieve sales and conversion growth plans. The role is highly cross-functional working directly with the Manager of Category Growth and marketing, content development, product set-up, and buying teams to flawlessly merchandise the site.

Key Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of digital retail experience providing a foundation in ecommerce KPIs. Experience working in an ecommerce merchandising role is preferred, and understanding of the luxury retail landscape and customer is a plus.Displays strong analytical and problem-solving ability to help guide merchandising decisions and develop new, innovative ideas to drive the business.Works well with cross-functional teams to execute business strategies.Demonstrates eagerness to learn and contributes to developing business objectives throughthoughtful analysis of the business and competitive landscape.Follows fashion and customer trends to influence merchandising and marketing decisions.Must have proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables and v-lookup) and the capacity to learn newsystems swiftly. Experience with Salesforce Business Manager is preferred

Role Description

Supports the Manager of Category Growth in analyzing data and reporting insights of the business to business stakeholders along with actions to achieve business objectives.Works in SalesForce Business Manager on a daily basis to merchandise the site, set up content and test customer experience of new sites in staging environments before go-live.Ensures merchandising of Saks.com is aligned with best practices and executed in a timely manner (ex. navigation, product array, search results, features items, linking strategy, etc).Works closely with Digital Content, Media, and Integrated Marketing teams to define and execute the merchandising strategies within marketing plans and evaluate the effectiveness of the category.Partners closely with Merchant teams to understand key trends, receipt investments, and shipment tracking.Analyzes onsite customer journey, promotional data, and external marketing performance to provide timely insights and recommendations to identify areas of opportunity or to scale experience.Leads various projects within Category Growth which demonstrates proficiency of site merchandising capabilities and operational knowledge.Fields ad hoc requests, presents findings and proactively delivers recommendations that inform strategy.Synthesizes large data sets into digestible takeaways that drive action.
