📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Description
Salad and Go is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic Technician for our Food Production Facility.
We are excited to announce an upcoming relocation of our facility from Oak Cliff to Garland, TX. As part of this transition, we are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in various positions. This relocation presents an exciting opportunity to work in a new state of the art facility.
Interviews will be conducted at our Oak Cliff facility. However, please note that operations will be moved to Garland, TX between April and June. You will have the opportunity to relocate with us if desired or continue working at the Oak Cliff location until the transition is complete.
Compensation range: $30-$36/hr depending on experience
Responsibilities
Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of production equipment.Preventive maintenance and utilizing CMMS system to track work orders and spare partsContinuous improvement and identifying root cause of failuresInstallation of new automated equipment and aiding in developing new PM program
Requirements
Mechanical experience with food production equipment or appliances requiredElectrical experience is a plusTIG Welding (Stainless steel experience preferred)Welding and fabricating experience preferredWarehouse food manufacturing experience preferredAble to work in cold and wet environment (38-40 degrees) for multiple hours Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while in the warehouseAble to lift, bend and twist as well as standing on your feet throughout every shift shift
