Architect, design, implement, test and deliver highly scalable productsMaster our development process, culture and code base, then improve itOperate effectively in the hybrid engineering model where engineers are encouraged to be able to craft and implement the vital work to ensure quality in their own code as well as other specialists'Mentor others in development technologies, tools, and processesPresent your own designs to internal/external groups and review designs of othersDevelop test strategies, design automation frameworks, write unit/functional tests to drive up code coverage and automation metrics.Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to address sophisticated problems in real-time and keep services operational and highly available

Required Skills

A related technical degree required4+ years of professional software development experience depending on levelDeep knowledge of object oriented programming and experience with at least one object oriented programming language (Java, Javascript, C++, C#, Ruby, Python)High proficiency in at least one high-level programming language and web framework (NodeJS, Express, Hapi, etc.)Validated understanding of web technologies, such as JavaScript, CSS, HTML5, XML, JavaScript, JSON, and/or AjaxShown understanding of Database technologies such as SQL, PL/SQL and relational database schema designExperience in automated testing including unit and functional testing using Java, JUnit, JSUnit, SeleniumExcellent interpersonal skills

Experience building highly scalable web applicationsExperience with Agile software development and test-driven developmentBachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent fieldTrack record of being a top performer in current and past roles

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $102,200 to $296,400.

For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $111,500 to $323,400.

Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Certain roles may be eligible for incentive compensation, equity, benefits.
