Samaritan's Purse is actively seeking a Staffing Specialist to join our Human Resource team in Boone, NC! This position will be responsible to source and interview candidates for Associates across the ministry that meet program requirements and staffing needs. A Day In The Life Of a Staffing Specialist

In the role of Staffing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:

Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him Identify, attract, and screen active and passive candidates to provide a continuous pipeline of resumes for current and future Associate openings Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with ministry Supervisors Partner with Staffing Partners and hiring departments to locate appropriate sourcing channels. Advise on best practice and new methods for active and passive sourcing techniques Conduct intake meetings for assigned sectors, regular follow-up communications and status updates, and calibrating on screening, interviewing, and selection decisions to meet changing needs Maintain and update Applicant Tracking System and Talemetry (CRM) database records of prospective, active, and former candidates Responsible to schedule and design drip email campaigns, review analytics, and make recommendations to Staffing Partner to continuously improve system management of sourced candidates Implement marketing campaigns and evaluate campaigns success to attract qualified candidates. Work in partnership with designated HR Liaisons with Communications and Broadcast to implement campaigns Participate in off-site recruiting events related to open positions and/or departments assigned, as needed Provide strong customer service to prospective applicants and new applicants Respond to all inquiries via phone and email communication in a timely manner, answering and responding to questions Responsible to review and call all applicants within 48 hours of application date Contact all referrals to confirm for new applicants and provide feedback on applicant to Staffing Partners Maintain knowledge of sourcing, recruiting and hiring trends All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelors degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and one (1) to three (3) years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written communication Experience with customer service and public speaking General knowledge of recruiting systems; Applicant Tracking Systems and CRMs to maintain applicant database records General knowledge of active and passive sourcing techniques; Boolean search logic, drip campaigns, event-based recruitment, job boards Working knowledge of marketing, social media, brand development, and event best practice
