Immigration Paralegal

The ideal candidate must be highly organized, detail oriented, with great writing and computer skills. The candidate must also have strong customer service skills and can work under high pressure deadlines.

Paralegal Responsibilities:Researching and drafting legal documents, such as: Pleadings, Motions, Petitions & Defenses, etcPreparing USCIS immigration forms and supporting documentationResponsible for filings, assembling basic applications, and preparing client, agency, and court correspondenceGeneral case and document management and oversight: monitoring and documenting important case developments and datesKeeping clients informed of the status of their case and assisting in managing client experienceCreate and maintain case filesFacilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely remindersOther office administrative tasks as requested.

Who we Are Looking For:Experience: minimum 2 years as paralegalDegree: preferable Bachelor's degree or Paralegal certificateEfficient, detail-oriented individual with great workload-time management skillsAble to work independently as a member of a unit that works collaborativelyBe resourceful and with an innate ability to problem solvePreferably fluent in Portuguese
