Position Objective

The Home Entertainment Go-To-Market (GTM) team provides critical market, competitor, and business insights to Top Level Executives using analytics, ensures cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic initiatives forward. As part of the Operations & Analytics organization, the team utilizes data and strategy to develop & deploy short term and long term category & channel GTM strategies.

Role And Responsibilities

The key role of the Senior GTM Strategy and Operations Manager is to support Home Entertainment management to define the corporate/business division strategy and to translate into concrete GTM initiatives, business plan and priorities. As a core member of the highly visible GTM team, this role will include:

GTM Strategy Development

Will work closely with the GTM Director and the Head of HE Operations & Analytics, but also across cross functional teams to ensure strategic initiatives are in line with Samsung Global and Samsung Electronics America medium-and long-term strategy.Develop business case, incubate and manage critical strategic projects from concept to launchSupport and apply in-depth strategic insights and thought leadership on TV industry, channel, and consumer trendsMonitoring key market developments that can influence SEA business (competitor, macroeconomic, etc.)Extracting insights from open (media reports, market reports, government data, expert interviews) and internal sources (business performance and P&L reports, etc.)

Critical Business Planning & Best in Class GTM Execution

Lead GTM execution, setting strategic priorities, evolving conflict into consensus and driving flawless day to day execution. This individual is the central point of communication and coordination for GTM projects, initiatives & programs, internal and external, and is responsible for driving actions across the broader organization. This individual will coordinate with domestic and global partners to advance corporate objectives.Building new capabilities, improve processes and drive performance around critical business initiativesResponsible for building cross functional consensus on strategic projects, leveraging data-driven insights around products & consumers.Tracks strategic initiatives. Monitors progress towards goals, achieving benchmarks and ensures follow-through on the part of responsible team members. Provides as needed daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting.

Thought Leadership and Executive Communication

Drive all Executive Communications for the strategy team through working with Top Management to develop best in class presentation and communication materialsProvide business updates, KPI dashboards and preparing strategic business presentations to both local and global leadership

Skills And Qualifications

Undergraduate in Business Administration, Economics, Finance (related to Business) required. Both a strong background in math, science, finance, engineering, or statistics and deep business insight is required, advanced degrees and/or MBA.8+ experience as a strategic and problem solving thinker who can turn strategic objectives into practical (experience working in consulting, or internal strategy roles preferred)4+ years’ experience working in Business Analysis, Management Analysis or Data Analytics roleStrong verbal and written communication skills and facility for establishing relationships cross-functionally and cross-divisionallyStrong presentation skills demonstrating the ability for effective story tellingDemonstrates extensive knowledge of, and/or success in operations roles within a professional services firm or corporate environment, helping companies to identify, clarify and resolve complex issues critical to their strategic and operating successExpert in Excel and experience with developing complex macros and automation in excelExperience with Business Intelligence tools like Tableau or Adobe Analytics (certification in Tableau a plus)Must be able to report into office at 85 Challenger Road, Ridgefield Park, NJ (Monday – Thursday)
