Solar Facility Remote Monitoring & Operations Specialist (Top Renewable Energy Player)Thrive in a fast-paced environment & passionate about clean energy?We're partnering with a leading renewable energy company to find a motivated individual for a Solar Facility Remote Monitoring & Operations Specialist role.Be the eyes & ears for multiple solar projects, ensuring optimal performance & swift issue response!
Key Responsibilities:Master initial operator training for remote monitoring & operations.Monitor daily operations (2MW-100MW solar projects).Respond swiftly to system alerts & abnormal conditions (notify relevant parties).Central contact for field teams, operators, utilities & transmission operators.Maintain facility availability & follow curtailment directives.Generate daily performance reports & troubleshoot underperforming systems.Assist field technicians with troubleshooting & dispatch.
Qualifications:Bachelor's in technical field (Engineering preferred).Knowledge of power generation & PV systems.Troubleshoot issues using DAS/SCADA.Read & interpret electrical diagrams.Proficient in MS Office.CMMS & DAS/SCADA experience a plus.
Additional Info:Office environment (initial training).12-hour shifts with on-call availability.Valid driver's license & NERC/CIP access required.Passion for clean energy a plus.
