Description
SUMMARY
We are looking for an integration specialist who enjoys solving complex problems with a talented group of peers. As a collaborating team member within the platform team, you will be responsible for bringing your database expertise to the team. You will work alongside the team through various development projects, ensuring a quality product is built efficiently. You will employ your technical knowledge combined with the desire for continuous improvement.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivityCreate and maintain rich interactive visualizations through data interpretation and analysis integrating various reporting components from multiple data sourcesDefine and implement data acquisition and integration logic, selecting appropriate combination of methods and tools within defined technology stack to ensure optimal scalability and performance of the solutionDevelop, implement, and maintain leading-edge data analytic systems, taking complicated problems and building integrations, workflows and data frameworksIdentify trends and opportunities for growth through analysis of complex data setsCreate best-practice reports based on data mining, analysis, and visualizationEvaluate internal systems for efficiency, problems, risk and inaccuracies, developing and maintaining protocols for handling, processing, and cleaning dataAssist in designing and implementing secure, efficient, and accurate databases Assist in identifying and analyzing the logical database structure and platform functionality for the company’s current and future needsEnsures integrity of database system by developing, documenting, and enforcing security procedures and access controlsDesigns, implements, and periodically tests database backup and recovery proceduresMaintains current and accurate knowledge of data storage and management best practicesAssist in identifying and setting up integrations of various kinds, ranging from APIs to SFTPs
Requirements
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
3+ years experience mining data as a data analystProven analytic skills, including mining, evaluation, analysis, and visualizationTechnical writing experience in relevant areas, including queries, reports, and presentationsStrong SQL, Python or R Studios skills with the ability to learn other analytic toolsExperience within DOMO or equivalent BI toolExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareExperience establishing API and SFTP connections
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or Statistics or equivalent work experience
Salary Description
80,000-95,000
