Your performance areas

The Senior Product Engineer position is responsible for maintaining and improving heavy duty rock drill products and mobile mining equipment at all stages of product life cycle.

Key responsibilities include

Ensure rock drill products maintain high technical quality and market competitiveness.Maintain technical coordination and support with the engineering staff and other departments.Prioritize mining machinery product improvements and quality issues following the continuous product improvement process.Ensure component/system strategies are maintained for mining product design and development.Create and approve Engineering Change Notices (ECN) for products as needed for engineering releases.Implement common solutions across mining product models by working closely with the component/system lead.Perform and approve design calculations to ensure designs meet the requirements.Responsible for the mining product cost structure and lead cost reduction projects.Drive assembly efficiency and reduce build times for mining product manufacturing.Lead a team of Design Engineers and assign tasks.Coordinate with remote resource pools and engage resources as needed.Provide on-site technical support and testing at customer mine sites, as needed.Ensure product Bill of Material (BOM) is ready for mining product prototype and serial production stages according to project models.Ensure all electrical schematics and electrical installation designs are fully documented in models, drawings, and Bill of Materials (BOM) for integration into large-scale, heavy duty mobile mining equipment.

Your profile

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and five (5) years of experience as Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.Alternatively, Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and two (2) year of experience as Design Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.The required five (5) or two (2) years of experience must have included mechanical engineering design/product development for surface mining drill rigs, including 3D modeling, drafting and GD&T. Up to 15% domestic and international travel required. May telecommute from home one day per week.

To anticipate and understand customer needs and match them with our product offering to maximize customer value and sales profit./p>p>Develop distributor network and optimizing go to market model within existing with primary focus of dealership development network, opportunity to grow withing international environment in matrix organization./p>p>Pursue sales activities both direct and indirect; visit existing and new distributors; assess customer and distributors needs; respond to more complex customer enquiries; negotiate prices and delivery times within limits of authority and conclude sales orders to meet revenue targets. To collect and communicate relevant business and market intelligence to product and sales management by using the applicable systems./p>p>Establish annual, quarterly, monthly sales plans and prioritize and schedule own activities so these targets are met. Join customers visits, stock analysis, reports, responsible for quarterly forecast and annual budget for responsible area./p>p>Reporting and following all equipment and aftermarket opportunities with using tools such as Salesforce / CRM etc. Active participation in Training sessions, seminars, sales meetings, area meetings, Info days etc. Promoting sales campaigns, organizing trainings, and developing dealer’s product knowledge expertise./p>p>/p>p>/p>h2>span>span>span>YOUR PROFILE/span>/span>/span>/h2>p>span>span> /span>/span>/p>p>span>span>You have a technical degree (Engineer school) with at least a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing an sales activities./span>/span>/p>p>Strong communication, co-operation, interpersonal and presentation skills to manage internal and external interfaces; problem solving and result oriented personality; 10 years of sales experience in industrial sector of infrastructure and mining, 5 years minimum managerial of remote teams./p>p>span>span>You have a good technical knowledge in electricity, mechanics and hydraulics. /span>/span>b>Strong knowledge of Crushing and Screening equipment’s /b>span>span>will be a major asset. /span>/span>b> Candidates without this experience will not be accepted/b> for further steps;br />Leadership and relationship building skills, multitasking advance skills mandatory; openminded, multicultural experience./p>p>Experience working with outside France, with North amp; West Africa countries/p>p>Able to regular international travel when needed; CRM experienced user; Sales Force knowledge nice to have. span>span>To be successful in this role, you will be proactive, comfortable in a matrix and multicultural work environment and possess strong communication skills./span>/span>/p>p>span>span>Fluency in English is required for this position as well as significant and successful experience in team management.
