Coordinator, Quality Assurance;

Alternative 10 hr shift 6:00am-4:30pm

Location: Tulare - Paige

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Performs administrative support functions for QA and Lab which includes written and verbal communications, internally and externally.Works in a self-directed, independent manner, assisting members of the department management team with various support functions, including, but not limited to, database maintenance; filing systems; responding to quality problems; implementing solutions to problems; preparation and coordination of communications; uses independent judgment to determine approach or action to take in non-routine situations.Handles confidential and non-routine information in a professional manner.Assists in the compilation and data entry of QA and Lab information and processes; generates required reports.Assists in the generation of Certificates of Analysis and sample requests from sales.Assists in the execution and positive release of product according to customer specifications.Responds to quality problems and assists in the implementation of solutions to such problems.Accurately, efficiently operates computer systems and programs in support of QA and Lab while adhering to established recordkeeping procedures, processes and policies.Demonstrates integrity and professionalism in all business activities and with internal and external customersAttends training as required (safety, on-the-job, quality and lab based training)Perform miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as deemed necessary.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

AS degree preferred, or the equivalent experience.Minimum 2 years of responsible, independent clerical work required; Quality Assurance/Lab or dairy manufacturing experience preferred.Must be detail oriented.Must be dependable and have excellent attendance.Working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications/programs required (i.e. MS Excel, Word, email); SAP). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands and shifting priorities. Sets high personal standards of performance.Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills with a commitment and sensitivity to maintain confidentiality.Ability to work flexible hours.Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently with good time management and organizational skills. Fosters collaboration and teamwork. Hourly Range: $29.63 - $34.91
