Production Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Saxon Aerospace is currently hiring a Production Supervisor (Production Control) for an aerospace manufacturing company in the greater Los Angeles area.

This contract role has an expected duration of 6 months with the possibility of extension.

As a Production Supervisor (Production Control), you will be responsible for managing production control initiatives, in coordination with multiple outside processing facilities to meet the establish production goals

Production Supervisor (Production Control) responsibilities:Develop a recovery plan and standard weekly status reports detailing but not limited to production plans/schedules, part progress to load and recovery plan to purchase order.Weekly visibility on production flow correlating to production target and established planWeekly or Bi-monthly progress report on identified mission critical improvement activities with quantifiable results correlating to recovery improvementTimely written and verbal notification of potential missed shipments per daily priority list as identified or directedPlan, assign, and direct daily tasks and goals.Evaluate production performanceResolve flow problems.Maintain the production schedule.Evaluate production efficiency.Determine the quality of products before shipping.Gather and report daily, weekly, and monthly production data.

Preferred education and experience:5+ years’ experience as a production supervisor or production control specialist in an aerospace manufacturing environmentExperience managing product quality, work processes, and environmental health and safetyExperience in metal castings or metal manufacturing

Pay: $55.00/hr ST; $ 82.50/hr OTIn addition to hourly pay, qualified out-of-area contractors will receive $166.29 daily allowance for lodging, $1,164 max allowance per week.
