SCI Engineered Materials is a global manufacturer and supplier of advanced materials for PVD thin film coating applications. We are adding the position of Director – Financial Planning & Analysis to our team with advancement opportunity to overall responsibility of the financial aspects of the Company. The position ensures the integrity of all accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions. This hands on role will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and analysis of financial reporting and forecasting, with daily and month-end close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial information with appropriate internal controls. Other ongoing duties:Ensure business goals, deadlines and performance standards are met.Create monthly analytical reports for management and Board of Directors.Monthly forecasting and annual budget process.Provide outside auditors with assistance for quarterly reviews and annual audit.Provide outside tax consultant with information for tax return preparation.Lead internal SOX review.Assist in preparation of SEC reporting requirements.Assist in Annual Shareholder’s Meeting.Manage workflow of accounting team.Human Resources functions.
Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Superior problem solving and analytical skills.Understanding of and the ability to adhere to GAAP.High level of integrity and professionalism.Highly motivated and able to juggle competing priorities.
Education/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance; CPA/Master’s degree preferred.Manufacturing industry experience preferred.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software.Salary: From $90,000.00 per year based on qualifications Schedule:Monday to FridayWork Location: Columbus, Ohio - In person
