ELECTRICAL ENGINEER My name is Traci Krug, Recruiting Specialist with SCN (www.SCNteam.com).
We are working with a nationally recognized, award winning, engineering and facility planning firm to find several Electrical Engineers throughout the USA.
This position provides the opportunity to expand your knowledge and expertise using leading edge design tools on new construction and renovation projects, including data centers, government and municipal projects, healthcare, education and sports and entertainment.
Open to Relocating the Right Candidate – Locations for Positions: Indianapolis, IN Columbus, OH South Bend, IN Benton Harbor, MI Metro Jacksonville, FL Responsibilities include:Field investigationDesign of electrical, lighting and fire alarm systemsEquipment selection and specificationsSubmittal reviewShort circuit coordination, and arc flash studiesScheduling, programming, quality control, and coordinating information/work of all disciplinesBranch and feeder circuiting, load calculations, and panel schedulesConstruction process review
Background Requirements5+ years of experience in the design of electrical systems for commercial projectsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical EngineeringProfessional Engineering license preferred Ability to perform electrical engineering calculationsProficiency in AutoCAD or REVIT Layout and design of electrical distributionExperience in designing systems in accordance with the NEC and CECExperience designing projects from conceptual design to completion of construction documentsUnderstanding of mechanical and plumbing systems design is a plus
