This is a benefited, full-time position generally working Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. Located in Encinitas on Santa Fe Drive.

Your Job Duties
Assisting in our treatment & infusion rooms performing lab drawsSupporting our staff to ensure an efficient and comfortable experience for each and every patientRooming patients, checking vitals, assisting with proceduresClinic prep assisting with Provider specific protocolsMaintains a clean, organized, and safe environmentOrganizes and performs patient care services that support the physician’s practiceRelaying instructions from the physician to the patient or authorized personCollecting patient data in person and by phoneDocumenting patient concerns, messages and care provided in the electronic medical record for the physician's reviewAdministering medications specifically directed by the physicianScheduling of appointments and proceduresComplete and accurate message takingRouting messages to the appropriate area for directionOrder and referral entry, acquisition of pre-certificationsSetting up of cases in EPIC plus basic registration and updating of demographics
Required Qualifications
Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program OR hold a Medical Assistant Certification OR have a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsmanBLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications
1 years of experience working as Medical AssistantPrevious experience with hematology/oncology patientsExperience in drawing labs

Position Pay Range: $22.29-$30.58/hour
