Join our highly engaged Surgical Acute II team (7th floor) as a surgical acute nurse working at Scripps Health Mercy San Diego. You’ll join a team of skilled medical professionals who provide superior health services in a caring environment. The Scripps Health team is dedicated to making a positive, measurable difference in the health of individuals in the communities we serve.
Our surgical acute nurses gain exposure to general surgical patients including bariatric, ortho, spinal, urology, medical, telemetry, and trauma. This is a high-functioning unit that boasts exceptionally high employee engagement and patient satisfaction scores.
This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives up to $7.000.

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:
Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter) Must remain in original department/specialty Must remain in original Job Title Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.
Required Qualifications
At least one year RN experienceGraduate from an accredited school for nursingCurrent CA State RN licenseAmerican Heart Association BLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year of acute Med/Surg RN experienceAt least one year of Acute Long Term Care experienceBachelor’s Degree in NursingBariatric Certification preferred

Position Pay Range: $57.00-$81.60/hour
