Attorney
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Seamark Law Group, a civil-litigation firm on Bainbridge Island, WA, is adding an attorney to help us defend police officers, municipalities, and other clients in civil litigation.
Our team is collaborative, collegial, and committed to mentoring. We regularly work on interesting and important cases. For example, we represented the Border Patrol agent who was the prevailing party in Egbert v. Boule, a case in which the U.S. Supreme Court held there is no cause of action against federal officers for Fourth Amendment claims related to border-security activities or for First Amendment retaliation.
Candidates must be admitted to practice in Washington. We have a flexible workplace that supports remote work, but candidates must be able to attend in-person depositions and hearings in the greater-Seattle area whenever needed. The position also requires outstanding research-and-writing skills and a growth mindset.
Salary is $130,000 to $180,000, depending on experience, and benefits include a 401(k) plan and health insurance.
Seamark maintains an open, welcoming, and supportive workplace that celebrates diversity. We never discriminate based on race, religion, national origin, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age, disability, or veteran status.
