📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Senior Cybersecurity Architect – Identity and Access ManagementWe are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Architect to work full-time on a government contract in the Washington, D.C. area. The initial contract will be for 3-6 months, though the contract may be extended. This is a hybrid role, with at least three days a week on site, and it is a 1099 position (no benefits).
The Senior Cybersecurity Architect will support enterprise cybersecurity by helping to strengthen the overall security posture; planning, deploying, and testing security controls; and developing security policies and procedures. They should have significant experience in identity and access management (IAM), including the creation and implementation of IAM controls. They should also have expertise in ForgeRock and Microsoft Office 365 (O365).
Responsibilities will include:· Applying knowledge of NIST standards.· Developing reference architecture models and conducting architectural assessments.· Reviewing and maintaining the security posture of O365.· Analyzing the current security state, defining the future state, and performing a gap analysis.· Working with business stakeholders to understand current applications and access requirements.· Designing a password-less architecture.· Developing organizational access roles, including privileged access roles.· Develop an access request process.· Ensuring that provisioned access meets mapped access requirements.· Transferring IAM controls to ForgeRock.· Providing initial and ongoing training on the IAM program.·Required qualifications are as follows (please do not apply if you do not meet these criteria):· 10 years’ cybersecurity experience· 3 years’ experience as a Senior Cybersecurity Architect· Bachelor’s degree in information systems, cybersecurity, or business management, or equivalent combination of education and experience· Expertise in IAM and role-based access control· Experience managing an IAM system· Experience with ForgeRock· Experience with O365· Experience with the NIST Cybersecurity and Risk Management Frameworks
Salary: $145,000-$200,000 DOE
