📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
OverviewSecurance Technologies is looking to hire a full-time Security Service Technician and a Fire Alarm Service Technician. This individual must possess a great attitude, be forward-thinking, and willing to work on their own. As a growing company, we are continuing to look for people who want to join our amazing team culture. Responsibilities· Respond to service calls for our customers which could include: scheduled, unplanned, emergency or after-hours calls. · Install, troubleshooting, and possible configuration of various security-based systems including access control, camera systems, and associated systems. · Completes service reports and tickets utilizing internal platform to assist in tracking and billing along with managing inventory for all parts being replaced.· Work as a team member to collaboratively help solve and troubleshoot issues.· Posses exceptional customer service through communication skills in difficult or high pressure situations.· Possible travel to locations outside of New Orleans for project support.· Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required. Requirements· Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience· Valid driver’s license · Ability to pass background checks· Knowledge and understanding of electrical and low-voltage systems· Ability to use industry specific tools such as a volt meter, power tools, etc. Preferred Experience (but not required):· 2-4 years relevant experience in security or alarm systems, low voltage, or fire alarm & life safety. · Familiarity with systems and/or manufacturers such as: Edwards/EST, Kidde, etc. Benefit Information: In addition to competitive wages, we offer the following benefits to our employees:· Company Holidays and Paid Time Off· Medical, Dental & Vision Plan· Life insurance & Disability Plan· 401(k) contribution plan · Vehicle allowance or company vehicle
