Marketing Graphic Design Intern

What You Will Do

Assist Marketing in the coordination and execution of internal and external marketing communications and events. Support marketing staff in the execution of various departmental initiatives. Provide enthusiastic, professional, and courteous service to SSFCU members. Coordinate the distribution of marketing communications and materials to internal and external audiences. Periodically conduct marketing signage audits among all service centers to ensure proper presentation of promotional materials. Manage inventory and orderly storage of all marketing specialty and promotional items at on-site facility. Maintain online classified ad systems, respond to member inquiries, proofread layout, and ensure the delivery of print file to vendor. Produce and maintain photographs for marketing publications. Maintain marketing material for documentation and reference purposes. Clip, file and maintain newspaper advertisements for both SSFCU and competitive financial institutions. Assist in the marketing of the FYI youth programs. Assist in quarterly evaluation of competitive financial institutions' products and services. Assist in the development of print ads, campaigns, newsletters, signage, e-mail promotions, etc. Assist other departments in the execution of marketing projects to help them meet their goals of providing better member service. Interacts with internal mail function, US postal service and FedEx, UPS, etc. as needed. Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Require

Requires High school diploma. Currently attending an accredited post-secondary school, classified as a senior and concentrating in Marketing or a related field. Requires excellent oral and written communications skills. Requires ability to meet deadlines with high quality standards. Requires a basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Quark, Photoshop or Macintosh preferred.

Ideal Candidate Will Have

Knowledge of the Marketing strategies including continuing education of innovative marketing tactics and tools. An interest in working in the Marketing industry.
