Position Title: Sr. Completions Engineer Employment Type: Full-time Location: Remote
Job Description
This role involves completion, evaluation, and data interpretation. Close collaboration with clients and operations is required to develop and deliver valuable insights and a detailed analysis of completion efficacy.
Responsibilities
Provide completions engineering development recommendations and support for the US Lower 48. Support includes analyzing completions data along with the Seismos MWF package to characterize frac stage performance, optimizing completions designs using multivariant techniques, and identifying and implementing value-enhancing completions designs to reduce costs and improve well performance.Collaborate with multi-functional technical teams. Evaluate, monitor, and interpret the completion performance, fracture characteristics, and perforation design evaluation in real-time, providing recommendations on future completion designs.Present technical analysis and recommendations regularly to clients during the project, incorporate diverse datasets to prepare post-job reports/presentations, and do look-back analyses for field development.Work closely with internal groups to develop and evaluate new products in the field. Evaluate performance and suggest recommendations for product improvement and development of deliverables to the client.Help support the technical excellence of the operating staff and field operating personnel and work closely with other multidisciplinary teams.Possess up-to-date knowledge of completion design and fracture modeling across various basins.Excellent knowledge of data analysis tools such as Spotfire and Python.Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelors/Masters of Engineering.
5+ years of completion evaluation and optimization.
