An elite trading firm is looking to bring on a Linux Administrator to their Linux Systems Engineering Team.
Key Responsibilities:Deploying new systems as well as maintaining existing onesManaging user accounts and permissions on various platformsTroubleshooting system issuesCollaborating with other teams within IT department
Skills:Minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining large-scale Linux/Unix server environments.Demonstrate a strong understanding of Linux Kernel internalsEmbrace a developer mindset to contribute to the creation of tools for continuous improvementProficient coding skills in Python and a keen interest in automationFamiliarity with Infrastructure-as-Code, particularly with a focus on Ansible
This role will work in the firm's Chicago office, in person.At this time they are unable to provide a visa sponsorship.
