📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Summary: A well established LMM organization located in the Washington, D.C. region is looking to add a Principal onto their deal team in the near to medium term. This is one of several hires taking place to the team at this time. The firm has been around for several decades, operates across a Generalist mandate, and fully intends for this person to move into an MD/Partner seat within a couple years of being at the firm. The organization has some of the best tenure in the business and has a highly active portfolio with easy access to capital.
The overall cash compensation for this role ranges from $450k-$650k in addition to carry that vest in a shorter period than many candidates are likely used to seeing. The ideal candidate for this role would ideally have 8-10+ years of experience with 6-8 of those years being in Private Equity, ideally a LMM or MM buyout shop.
