📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Selby Jennings is partnered with one of the Top Alternative Investment firms in Boston, MA in their search for a talented Quality Engineer who is passionate about their craft. The ideal candidate will have experience working with manual and automation testing, prior experience with asset management/trading platforms, and enjoys a challenge!
Primary Responsibilities:Improve legacy systems as the team modernizes tech products in collaboration with other tech teams and agile leadsDefine testing processes to validate back-end calculationsCreate and maintain test cases, test plans, test strategyEstablish and improve internal quality practices to increase quality standardsCreate, review, and refine work products (requirements specifications, design, user stories, and models)
Qualifications:BS/MS in Computer Science related field2 to 5 years of experience as a QA or QEPrior experience at an asset management firm or with trading platformsTechnical skills: SQL, Linux, Jira, and Agile experience desired, as well as knowledge of various testing practices
