We are partnered with a rapidly growing Insurance Technology start-up that is leveraging cutting-edge technology to change the insurance space. They are looking to grow their sales organization and are looking for top sales professionals who have experience in the insurance space to join their team *REMOTE* in Ohio. This is a great opportunity to join a firm where you will be a part of something big from day one and make an immediate impact.
In this role, they are seeking a top BD/Sales candidate to oversee their existing relationships and build out new relationships in your given territory across new agencies.
Responsibilities: Design and execute campaigns to raise awareness o company's products and competitive advantages in expanding markets.Promote value proposition to potential agency partners.Evaluate and qualify prospective agencies based on their expertise and the quality of risks they can underwrite.Contribute to the development and implementation of creative go-to-market strategies to target untapped commercial distribution opportunities in habitational insurance.Gather market intelligence to identify and pursue growth opportunities in newly launched states.Build trusted relationships with agency partners specializing in habitational/multi-family housing insurance in key states/territories.Collaborate with sales and product development teams to provide feedback for ongoing product-market fit.Assist in developing communication and marketing materials for agency partners.
Requirements:Required qualifications include 6+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development roles, proficiency in relationship management, deal design, negotiation, and meeting business objectives.Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, thrive in fast-paced environments, and navigate organizations for partnership opportunities.Knowledge of commercial insurance property landscape preferred, exceptional networking skills necessary.
