Overview: Our client, one of Boston's longest tenured private asset managers, is looking for a motivated Senior Data Engineer to join their Enterprise Data team to develop and support critical data processing and warehousing applicationsResponsibilities:Designing and implementing Python and SQL solutionsProficiency with data collection, data wrangling, visualizations, and ETL.Migrating existing systems to the cloudImplementing best practices in data modeling and access patterns for cost-efficiency and high performanceMaintaining an Azure Synapse Enterprise Data WarehouseQualifications:2-5 YOE in programming with SQL and PythonExperience and/or passion for working in financial servicesFamiliarity with enterprise applicationsBachelor’s Degree in Computer ScienceValue Added (but not required):Experience with Azure data platforms (Synapse, SQL Database, Data Factory and Data Lake)Experience working with data (files, rest APIs, databases) in PythonNo C2C at this time!
