As a Senior Process Engineer You Will

Develop and optimize continuous production and manufacturing processes to achieve the output, quality, and cost goals of the organization. Collect production data and apply standard scientific and statistical methods to analyze, document, and diagram production processes. Identify process bottlenecks and devise solutions to resolve. Recommend changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency and utilization of resources including labor, energy and raw materials. Act as a liaison with internal teams and external stakeholders. Provide analysis and evaluation addressing and resolving areas where process improvements are needed.

What will my responsibilities include?

Provide technical assistance to team members in the companyRecommend changes or upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other areas to improve efficiency and utilization of labor as well as other resourcesAnalyze areas for process improvement related to output, quality, and cost goalsGenerate reports, attend meetings, and provide regular updatesCollect production data and apply methods to analyze, document, and diagram productions processesProcess expert in the areas of tube bending, coiling and fabrication, swaging and various end finishing operations, insulation and all other applicable Steico proceduresDevelop and design new prototypesEnsure PQR documentation is created for fabrication process in order for WPS generationEnsuring manufacturing Processes, equipment, and products comply with safety standards and legal regulationsOther reasonable duties as business and operational needs dictate

What key skills and experience do I need?

Communication skillsWritten skillsMath skills to include Algebra and basic TrigonometryThorough knowledge of drawing interpretation including ANSI drafting standards and GD&TProcess Mapping Equipment EvaluationCAD package knowledge such as Solidworks, CATIA, Unigraphics

Education And Experience

Bachelors' Degree in Engineering or elated field or equivalent work 4 to 7 years of related experienceThorough knowledge of drawing interpretation including ANSI drafting standards and GD&T
