We take pride in our exceptional customer service and are looking for a talented Sales Representative to join our passionate in-office team.As a Sales Representative, you will play a key role in taking sales orders, greeting customers in our NYC showroom, and connecting gilders with the proper tools for their gilding jobs. You'll be responsible for building relationships with clients, showcasing the value of our high-end supplies, and contributing to the growth of our business. ResponsibilitiesClient Relationship Building:Develop and nurture relationships with gilders, interior designers, artists, and architects.Understand clients' preferences and guide them in selecting gold leaf and gilding materials that align with their tastes and requirements.Prospecting and Lead Generation:Identify and pursue new business opportunities through networking, events, and outreach.Collaborate with marketing to follow up on leads generated through various channels.Art Market Knowledge:Stay informed about current gilding market trends, emerging artists, and industry developments.Share insights with clients to enhance their understanding and appreciation of gilding.
QualificationsProven experience in art sales or a related field.Understanding and appreciation of various gilding forms and styles.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to build and maintain client relationships.Creative and adaptable mindset in approaching sales strategies.
