Accounts Receivable Specialist

Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public accounting and possess knowledge of tax regulations. This position requires proficiency in various accounting software systems, including UltiPro, Paycor, and PeopleSoft. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions.

Responsibilities:- Process and review invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports- Perform data entry for accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies- Prepare and distribute customer invoices- Monitor customer accounts for overdue payments and follow up accordingly- Assist with month-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions- Assist with payroll processing as needed
