Production Supervisor

Open Position: Production SupervisorHours: 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday Salary: $70,000-$80,000/year (depending on experience & qualifications)Benefits: PTO, Health, Dental & Vision Insurance

OVERVIEW:SFP Hydraulics is looking to add a Production Supervisor to the Team. This role would consist of setting and monitoring daily production goals to keep up with order demands. This position would also supervise warehouse staff, equipment, and processes at SFP during production operations to ensure orders can be fulfilled in a timely manner and as efficiently as possible.

DAY-TO-DAY ACTIVITIES:Ensure a safety and healthy work environment.Set and make daily manufacturing orders to meet production demands.Communicate daily manufacturing orders with the Team Leaders so daily tasks can be scheduled accordingly.Work closely with Order Processing to make sure production demands are met.Supervise operations within the facility to achieve the highest outputs possible.Organize, monitor, and prioritize tasks to meet production goals.Watch over staff productivity and quality of work to ensure optimal performance.Work closely with Purchasing to make sure necessary products can be produced accordingly.Regularly report production progress and numbers to the VP of Operations.Review materials for quality issues and work with purchasing to resolve issues.Maintain communication with employees and ensure compliance with all procedures and policies.Help troubleshoot equipment issues and schedule maintenance.Schedule shipping as needed for trade shows, etc.Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new hires.

WE EXPECT YOU TO HAVE:Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience3+ years of production and warehouse supervisory experience Proficiency in computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.)Experience in Hydraulics preferred.Knowledge of ERP and/or MRP software. Ability to analyze situations and make decisions for success. Excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong work ethic.Capability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.Clear verbal and written communication.Ability to build trust through transparency.COMPENSATION:The anticipated pay for this position is $70,000-$80,000/year, depending upon a candidate’s experience, qualifications, and job-related knowledge/skills.Salary at SFP is determined by a combination of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other job-related qualifications.Salary requirements MUST be submitted for consideration.
