WORK @ SWShannon Waltchack (SW) is seeking a Commercial Property Manager to manage a portion of its commercial real estate portfolio.

Role DescriptionReporting to the President, the Director of Leasing is responsible for overseeing the leasing activities for the SW Managed portfolio to ensure maximum occupancy within the portfolio. The Director of Leasing will be responsible for developing and implementing proactive, creative leasing strategies to attract and retain tenants, negotiate lease agreements, and maintain strong relationships with tenants, brokers and other stakeholders. The Director of Leasing will maintain real-time market intelligence and expand our network and brand in target markets.
Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Develop, execute and oversee leasing, merchandising and value-creation strategies and plans• Lead portfolio reviews with preferred regional and national tenants• Manage direct report and third-party leasing relationships• Lead, manage and hold accountable any Leasing Associates or direct reports• Support the Asset Management Team and 3rd Party Owners in executing the Business Plan• Execute a highly accretive renewal effort• Oversee Lease Assignments• Market properties for lease as needed• Answer inquiries, show spaces, negotiate LOIs, perform lease analysis, and approve prospective tenants• Negotiate and finalize lease agreements• Develop detailed Market Lease Assumptions and set rates for the portfolio• Ensure efficiency and profitability of the department by ensuring that department milestones are• Create and maintain leasing pipeline reports • Generate competitive market reports• Participate in national and regional trade shows• Remain current on market trends by reading, analyzing, and interpreting periodicals and professional journals• Effectively present information and respond to inquiries from management, co‐workers, tenants, and Owners• Build and maintain strong relationships with Owners• Assist in overall business development of SW• Assist with other projects, as directed
Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in real estate, business or related field preferredMinimum 5 years experience in real estate leasingAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret real estate terms, principals, and documentsHigh degree of initiative, self-direction, and attention to detailExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong organizational and analytical skillsMust be proactive, responsive and resourcefulAbility to multi-task and work well under pressure requiredDemonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office 365Commercial Leasing and Lease Negotiations skillsAbility to build and maintain relationships with clients and tenants
