Family Law Attorney

Position: Family Law Attorney Location: Los Angeles, CA (Century City)

Shayan Family Law, APC, a distinguished and rapidly growing family law firm located in Century City, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced family law attorney to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to contribute to our client-focused practice while working in a supportive and collegial environment.

Key Responsibilities:Manage an active caseload including, but not limited to, divorce, child custody, support issues, and property division.Draft pleadings, discovery requests, responses, motions, brief, and other relevant documents.Handle hearings, trials, and depositions.Develop effective case strategy and conduct legal research and analysis in support thereof.Maintain effective and professional communication with clients, fostering trust and confidence through compassionate and client-focused service.Draft and negotiate prenuptial and postnuptial agreements.Stay apprised in the latest developments in family law, particularly as it applies to Los Angeles-based matters.Ensure compliance with all court and jurisdictional rules and deadlines.This position has an annual billable requirement of 1,250 hours per year. Qualifications:A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a practicing family law attorney.In-depth understanding of family law proceedings and ability to manage an active caseload.Proficiency in drafting motions and discovery requests and responses.Trial experience and experience in taking and defending depositions is a plus.Excellent organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and research skills.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.High degree of professionalism and respect for confidentiality.Must be admitted to practice in California. Compensation:$120,000 to $160,000 per year.Discretionary bonus eligible.401(k) match. Work Environment:Initially remote, with the expectation to report to our Century City office a few days per week in the future.This position requires travel to courthouses or other offices in connection with hearings, trials, mediations, and depositions.
