The Supervisor, Corporate Accounting will be part of a dynamic team whose objectives are to provide cross-functional support and accurate and timely reporting to support the Company’s continued growth.

Key responsibilities will include oversight of a team while leading execution of the capital asset accounting lifecycle, ASC 842 lease portfolio lifecycle, and indirect tax compliance (such as personal property, real estate, and sales, use tax reporting). This position reports to the Manager, Corporate Accounting.

Your Seat at the Table Provide direct supervision and guidance to a team of corporate accounting staff, including assigning tasks, delegating responsibilities, and conducting performance reviewsOversee and support efficient, accurate, and timely production of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes and analyses around capital assets, leases, and indirect tax complianceAssist with the quarterly and annual financial forecast processes for assigned areasSupport the consolidated audit and quarterly review processes conducted by external auditors and ensure all requests are completed in a timely mannerFoster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional developmentDrive standardization and best practices to continuously improve department to support a growing businessCollaborates and provides solid business acumen with all levels of managementCollaborate with a fast-paced team where independent thought and work-product is requiredAbility to work effectively on multiple projects, prioritize work, meet expectations and deadlines, and concentrate on detailed information

What You Bring to the TableAccounting degree required; CPA certification a plusMinimum 3 years of accounting experienceStrong knowledge of GAAP and proven ability to apply GAAP in a manufacturing settingWork hours will vary with daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilitiesStrong change management skills and ability to influence decision makersProven leadership abilities with demonstrated capacity to hold team accountable to meet goalsExcel intermediate to advanced skills requiredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lead and collaborate in a team environment
