As a Senior Accountant your primary focus will be to support the implementation of processes, policies, and procedures aimed at guaranteeing the accuracy of consolidated financial statements and intercompany eliminations. You'll play a crucial role in the monthly financial closing and reporting process by handling intricate journal entries for the company. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with key business stakeholders and finance partners to provide accounting guidance, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and processes.
Key Details
Prepare journal entries and accompanying documentation for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing processes, focusing primarily on cash-related activities, consolidations, and intercompany eliminations. Flexibility to assist in other areas as needed. Conduct reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts, ensuring the availability of proper supporting documentation. Assist in preparing and reviewing materials for month-end financial reviews and other external communications. Analyze and document fluctuations in the income statement and balance sheet on a monthly basis. Collaborate with teams across multiple departments and locations to gather and disseminate financial information effectively. Contribute to the development of financial reporting packages, including the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and supporting schedules. Provide support for both external and internal audit activities as required. Review and improve analysis and analytical processes and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Cultivate effective working relationships with key business partners to facilitate collaboration and information sharing.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance, Masters a plus CPA designation a plus Experience with SAP, a plus 2+ years of experience
