System Security Engineer III (Hybrid Eligible)

As a Systems Security Engineer III, you will be using your skills and expertise to design, test, and implement our secure operating systems, networks, security monitoring, and tuning. You'll be responsible for the management of our IT security systems and applications, incident response, digital forensics, loss prevention, and eDiscovery actions, conducting risk and vulnerability assessments, and developing and implementing security controls. You'll research, evaluate, and recommend new security tools, techniques, and technologies in alignment with our IT security strategy and introduce them to the enterprise.

Must-haves

Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, Information Technology, or related Engineering discipline and typically 6 years of relevant experienceRelevant experience may be considered in lieu of required educationDesign and implement security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify and address potential security risks.Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.Monitor network activity for unusual behavior and investigate potential security breaches.Work with development teams to ensure security is integrated into the software development life cycle.Provide security training and awareness to employees and other stakeholders.Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, vulnerabilities, and threats.

Estimated Starting Salary Range: $104,827.91 - $144,138.38. SNC considers several factors when extending job offers, including but not limited to candidates’ key skills, relevant work experience, and education/training/certifications.
