Qualifications:Medical Assistants:I. Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.II. Certification: Medical Assistant certification through one of the following organizations required within 90 days of hire: American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) - Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), American Medical Certification Agency (AMCA)- Clinical Medical Assistant Certification (CMA), National Health Career Association (NHA) - Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA), American Medical Technologist (AMT) - Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)- Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), National Phlebotomy Solutions (NPS)- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), National Association of Health Professionals- Nationally Registered Certified Medical Assistant (NRCMA) or National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT) - National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA). Current American Heart Association BLS (basic life support) for healthcare workers (with AED) required.III. Urgent Care Experience preferred. Emergency Department experience preferred. Experience in a medical office required.
LPNs:I. Education: Graduate from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.II. Licensures and Experience: Current Massachusetts licensure as an LPN required. Current American Heart Association BLS for healthcare workers (with AED) required. One (1) to three (3) years experience as an LPN preferred; physician office experience preferred.
