JOB SUMMARY

The Strategic Revenue Analyst will enable Signet to be on the forefront of best-in-class Pricing and Promotion analytics. This role will investigate and provide analyses of competitors, business models, market sizing, and industry trends across multiple Signet Banners. They will conduct market landscape analyses and identify internal and external opportunities. Coordinate with multiple banners, functional teams, and organizational processes to recommend price and promotion/discount changes. Evaluate and quantify tradeoff between protecting margin and maximizing sell through of markdown products.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Develop and automate pricing analysis across the product lifecycle by banner/channel/product category/market. Source and analyze data pertaining to initial market price, promotions/discounts, and clearance. Aggregate findings and provide executive level visualizations to drive incremental sales and margin while maintaining the Banner’s Value Proposition.Utilizing the PriceFx software, design/build/manage analytical models and dashboards to drive value which achieves best in class Pricing & Promotion elasticity and optimal markdown optimization. Stay ahead of pricing trends by leveraging competitor data and commodity data. Ensure Signet is compliant yet optimizing time on sale.Work cross-functionally to ensure pricing strategies incorporate consumer shopping behaviors, customer segmentation, product category strategies and other key business drivers. Advise pricing and promotion opportunities to the Consumer Data & Loyalty teams to drive targeted marketing which maximizes top-line revenues and yields high net profits.Be a change agent and thought leader by promoting, educating and facilitating the concept of profitable revenue growth across Signet.Actively participate in key initiatives as the lead technical resource within the Strategic Revenue Management team to provide subject matter expertise on data and functionality requirements.

Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office, Tableau, Business Intelligence applications (i.e. SAP BO, Microstrategy, etc.)Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects against deadlinesAbility to work with and analyze complex data and summarize findings into actionable processes to achieve goalsPython and/or R experience preferred-SQL and VBA experience preferred
