Sanitation Supervisor - Weekends

We’re seeking a Weekend Sanitation Supervisor who has both a passion for high standards and working with team members across the organization to create a positive, highly productive team.

This position works day shift, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

The main responsibilities of the Sanitation Supervisor are to supervise and coordinate all sanitation processes involved in the manufacturing of our products to consistently meet Silver Spring and customer requirements. Responsible for supporting activities to ensure food safety, integrity, legality, quality, and authenticity. Daily Operation Support: Strong lines of communication between the different teams keep operations moving smoothly. You quickly determine priorities, staffing needs, and requirements to ensure the team is meeting daily sanitation goals. A stickler for detail, you ensure that safety, quality and maintenance procedures are followed and documented accurately, thoroughly and efficiently.

People Management: Promoting teamwork and building strong teams is second nature to you. You walk the floor regularly and you know your different team members because you understand how important it is to see what’s happening have a strong relationship with your colleagues to optimize productivity. Your close connections help the team achieve their goals. Education/Work Experience:Required: High school diploma or GED equivalency, 1 to 3 years of sanitation experience, along with supervisory experience. Knowledge of food production and sanitation standards.

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in microbiology, food science, chemistry or biology. Three to five years of mechanical sanitation or related work experience in a food processing environment, in a supervisory role.
