We are currently seeking a Director of Resident Engagement / Activities Director who is passionate about making a difference for our Southlake Community!

Shift Schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday

The Non-negotiables

Two years of experience in a social or recreational program for eldersKnowledge or experience working with residents with Alzheimer’s Disease and/or related dementia highly desirableMust be comfortable working in an environment with pets and assisting in the care of community pets, including, but not limited to, dogs, cats, and birdsOne year of experience supervising others to include: setting performance expectations, coaching, motivating, promoting collaboration and teamwork, promoting company culture, managing change, providing performance feedback, delegating effectively, resolving conflicts, etcHigh School or equivalent requiredA Bachelor’s Degree is preferredMust have valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance

What You'll Be Doing

Under the direction of the Administrator, is responsible for the planning, coordination and implementation of the resident engagement programsThe programs shall be scheduled daily and shall make every effort to meet the comprehensive needs and interests of all the residentsSupervises engagement staff members and volunteers

Anticipated pay range

$65,000—$70,000 USD
