SimiGon, a leading provider of advanced simulation and training technologies for the defense and aerospace industries, is seeking a talented VR Game Developer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a key leadership role in developing content and updates for our simulation platforms using the SIMbox SDK.
Primary Roles and Responsibilities:Lead the development effort for assigned components and features, from design conception to final release.Develop content and updates for various simulation platforms using the SIMbox SDK.Collaborate closely with other developers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy and user experience.Demonstrate a high level of responsibility, self-accomplishment, commitment, dedication, focus, and productivity as part of a small, agile, and high-performing global team.Travel will be required to deployment sites or for team gatherings.
Required Competencies and Qualifications:Proven experience of at least 1-2 years with C++ programming language.Proven experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD) principles and basic design patterns.Proven knowledge and experience with Agile development methodologies.Experience working with Windows development environments and IDEs.Experience using VR systems, including experience using VR games and applications (development experience on VR platforms is a plus).Preferred: Experience with game development engines like Unity or Unreal Engine.Preferred: Experience with C# programming language.
