As the Director, CRM and Email Marketing, you will oversee and orchestrate the Email, SMS and Push marketing and messaging strategy for 200 Simon centers. You will lead the messaging team, guide the overall lifecycle & communication strategy, shape the marketing calendar and help grow customer data, reaching and engaging and captivating key audiences throughout the customer journey. You will keep your finger on the pulse of digital trends and find clever ways to incorporate pop culture and social moments into the messaging stream.
In this role, you will nurture the customer through the different stages from on-boarding to retention, identifying valuable customer touch points throughout the customer lifecycle. You will be setting up engaging drip campaigns, executing transactional and behavioral triggered email and SMS/MMS/Push notifications on a large scale. You will create operational efficiencies with marketing automations and optimize campaigns at every interaction point.
Primiary Responsibilities
Lead, manage and empower the email messaging team to innovate and cultivate a culture of excellence to drive results that exceed expectations. Build the overall messaging CRM roadmap, pioneering testing strategies around creative, messaging and segmentation to optimize overall customer outreach and performance Meticulously plan and optimize our Email, SMS/MMS and Push campaigns to ensure they hit all the right notes and deadlines Run marketing campaigns to collect more demographic data from shoppers at sign up and throughout the customer lifecycle Dive deep into user data and analyze customer behavior to create targeted strategies to drive desired behavior e.g. through segmentation, personalization, identifying new touch points and optimize existing flows Establish strong collaboration across teams and channels to ensure high standards of design & copy, a coherent, engaging and fun customer journey Apply a strong understanding of new tools and marketing software, and have the desire and ability to create best in class campaigns using the right technology and features Define and continually refine key performance metrics to measure overall CRM effectiveness building the dashboard and reporting and driving relevant insights
Qualifications
B.A. or B.S. in Marketing or related field. 8-10 years of lifecycle email marketing or multi-channel CRM experience Minimum 3 years management experience Proven experience with Attentive Mobile, Zeta Global, Urban Airship, or related systems Demonstrate exceptional collaboration and relationship-building skills working effectively across functional teams with digital marketers, designers, data scientists and content editors Proven experience in segmentation and audience targeting, analyzing large sets of user data and the ability to turn findings into meaningful actionable insights Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects on tight deadlines Experience motivating and managing teams A strong understanding of the marketing technology ecosystem
