About the job:Sino Biological is an internationally recognized reagent supplier and contract researchorganization. The company is listed on ChiNext of the Shenzhen stock exchange (301047 SinoBiological Inc.). Sino Biological's core technology platform is its in-house developed mammaliancell-based recombinant expression system. The system employs a range of proprietary reagentsand processes, enabling highly efficient production of antigens and antibodies.
Sino Biological’s manufacturing facilities are mainly in Beijing, China, while its US headquartersis in the greater Philadelphia area and has an office and bioprocessing facility in Houston, Texas.Additionally, the company has subsidiaries in Frankfurt, Germany, and Tokyo, Japan. SinoBiological is undergoing a major global expansion, including establishing a bioprocessing centerin the US.
The newly established Center for Bioprocessing (C4B) is strategically located within therenowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, at the Levit Green. Equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and staffed by a dedicated team of experts, C4B is poised to drive innovation inbioprocessing.
Responsibilities:Perform chromatographic recombinant protein and antibody purification using FPLCs.Adhere to work schedules, conducting technical benchwork for projects.Report lab results and inventories to the manager.Follow safety regulations.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or related field required.Basic training in biological and biochemical experiment.Wet lab experience is necessary.Experience with the Cytiva AKTA system or other FPLC systems for protein purificationpreferred but not required.
Requirements:Entry-level position suitable for BS/BA graduates with wet lab experience.Understanding of recombinant protein purification principles and techniques.Problem-solving skills in wet lab environments.Proficient English verbal and written communication skills for documentation and reporting.
