The newly established Center for Bioprocessing (C4B), strategically located within the renowned Texas Medical Center in Houston, Texas, is situated at Levit Green. Job DescriptionThis is an entry and low-level position, suitable for individuals who are starting their industrial career and seeking an opportunity to gain practical experience in the field.
ResponsibilitiesConduct recombinant protein expression using suspension culture techniques in mammalian and insect cell systems.Adhere to work schedules, conducting technical benchwork for projects.Report lab results and inventories to the manager.Follow safety regulations.
QualificationsBS degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field. Experience in mammalian cell culture including but not limited to HEK293 and CHO cell lines.This is an Entry Level position.
RequirementsBackground and advancements in novel technologies for conducting mammalian suspension cell cultures.Analytical and problem-solving skills in wet lab environments, effectively troubleshooting and overcoming challenges during experiments.Proficient English verbal and written communication skills for documenting experiments and preparing reports.
