Position Overview

The Account Executive is a hands-on sales position responsible for managing a group of key customers, commonly referred to as a book of business. The Account Executive grows their book of business through relationship-building, consultative, and solutions selling, and prospects for new customers to develop.

What You'll Do

Manage sales and operations for high volume key customer accounts including daily orders, bids, and deliveriesProactively sell and service key accounts by identifying customer needsMake presentations to customers as neededBuild customer profilesProcess bids and quotesExecute and complete sales ordersCoordinate logistics of delivery and acceptance of customer ordersMaintain productive relationships with other key players in the branch

Skills We Are Seeking

2-3 years of selling experience preferred. Selling experience in the landscape/nursery/horticultural industry a plus!Plant identification skills preferredProven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external customersAbility to think quickly and act with a sense of urgencyDegree in a Business/Management discipline or equivalent experience preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required
