Position Overview

Our Customer Sales & Service Representatives/Drivers are knowledgeable, energetic and consistently deliver the best overall customer experience. To succeed in this role, you need to be passionate and customer obsessed while serving commercial and residential consumers in the green industry.

What You’ll Do

Demonstrate exceptional customer service to all SiteOne customersCultivate and manage strong relationships with customersAssist customers with their questions and needs, either in person, via the phone or through online orderingPull and prepare inventory orders for customer pick up or deliveryLoad and unload products for deliveriesMake deliveries and ensure product arrives undamagedOperate vehicle in accordance with local, state, and federal transportation regulationsPerform job duties within our safety guidelines. Job duties include, but are not limited to:Lifting and managing heavy objectsWorking in all weather conditions (drivers must be prepared to work in hot and cold temperatures).Maintain and protect all property entrusted to youProactively identify and capitalize on opportunities to grow sales with current and potential customersPartner with branch leadership to understand and implement new technologies and ways of working to help positively impact business performance.Assist with merchandising product, managing inventory, and other store tasks while maintaining a safe working environment.

Skills We Are Seeking

Valid state driver’s licenseDriving experience, preferredAbility to read and write to record and maintain daily recordsAbility to perform regular bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the headMinimum of 1 year experience in a retail or wholesale setting, preferredExcellent customer service skillsGreen industry experience or knowledge of landscape, nursery, or irrigation product a plusReady and willing to learn and adopt new technologies and ways of workingAbility to think quickly and make sound decisionsInventory management experience helpfulMust be able to lift a minimum of 50 poundsHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred
