Description of DutiesAs an Information System Security Officer, you will be responsible for development, implementation, coordination and enforcement of information system security standards, procedures and policies in your capacity as an ISSO. You will uphold an information system's operation security posture to guarantee that information systems security policies, standards and procedures are created and adhered to.
RequirementsAbility to ensure system integrity and network availability while hardening internal security programsExperience implementing information security principles in network and operation systemsResponsible for a cohesive system security perimeter and environmentReviews internal response to security incidentsAsses the performance of security controls Identified vulnerabilities and responds accordingly Prepares certification and accreditation documentation, system security plans, security assessment reports and plans of action Maintain repository for personnel required certs and system accreditation and documentsAbility to analyze end user requirements for networks, hardware and software Desired SkillsExperience with Xacta Robust knowledge of Information Assurance TechnologiesExpertise in Risk Management Framework process CISSP, CASP or equivalent preferred Working knowledge of IA security controls and guide requirements
