📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
We are looking for a seasoned Security Engineer with expertise in managing and enhancing security infrastructure to protect against advanced cyber threats. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with leading security technologies such as Netskope, SentinelOne, private access, secure web gateway, and threat detection systems. You will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard our organization's critical assets and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities:Design, implement, and manage security solutions including Netskope, SentinelOne, private access, secure web gateway, and threat detection systemsConduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measuresCollaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement security policies and proceduresMonitor and analyze security events to detect and respond to potential threats in a timely mannerInvestigate security incidents and conduct root cause analysis to prevent recurrenceStay current with industry trends and emerging threats to continuously enhance the organization's security postureProvide guidance and support to junior members of the security team
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field5+ years of experience in a security engineering role, with a focus on implementing and managing security technologiesStrong proficiency with Netskope, SentinelOne, private access, secure web gateway, and threat detection systemsHands-on experience with network security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPNsSolid understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issuesStrong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teamsRelevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or GIAC are a plus
